Over 79 riders and 100 volunteers participated in the June 25, 2010 ride from Littleton to Colorado Springs. Thank you for honoring our EMS colleagues!

The 2010 EMS Memorial Bike Ride in Colorado is a one day bicycling event honoring and celebrating the lives of EMS providers who have become sick or injured, or have died while performing their duties. Funds raised during the ride benefit families of fallen EMS practitioners through the Fallen Angels Fund. Registration for the event is $50 and includes a t-shirt. Commerative jerseys are available for $75. Lodging and additionalinformation is available at http://www.muddyangels.org.
The ride starts in Littleton and ends with an EMS parade and barbeque at Antler’s park in Colorado Springs, co-hosted with The National EMS Memorial Service.

5:00am – 7:00am Riders/Support Check-in and park at Arapahoe Community College (south parking lot)
7:00am – 7:30am Morning Ceremony: AirLife Memorial Park, Littleton, Colorado (Dedicated to James Sullivan)

7:30am Bikers Depart from Ceremony Site
3:00pm Parade into Colorado Springs: Marked EMS vehicles are invited to join in; assemble at Pike’s Peak Community College – Rampart campus.
Parade procession will pass through the city of Colorado Springs and do a slow roll by the families attending the memorial in front of the Hilton Antler’s hotel. Time updates posted in the lobby.

7:00pm Shuttle Buses return to Littleton (reservation required at time of online pre-registration)
This is a fully supported ride.
- Rest stops with snacks and bathrooms are provided every 10-25 miles, including one lunch stop.
- Support vehicles will patrol the route for bikers needing assistance with mechanical/medical support or transportation.
- Morning and evening shuttle buses will be available and shuttle luggage/bikes (reservations required at time of online registration) from Colorado Springs Antler’s park (finish point) to the ride starting point in Littleton.
Safety is of outmost concern, helmets are required. Please train and bring appropriate gear, spare tube,… for the 75-85 mile road cycling ride.
