Join educators from around the region to explore the latest trends and developments in providing effective initial and continuing education in our emergency medical services education programs. Leading national education experts will stimulate discussion on teaching kinesthetically, personal accountability, effective learner communication, evaluation, enhancing learning through problem based learning, developing critical thinking, continuing education and remediation through simulation, instructor toolbox for the classroom or CE, learner-centered instructional strategies, implementation of the new education standards, and updates from NREMT and the State.
This year we are excited to have David Levin as our keynote speaker. David is the co-author of the best selling QBQ! The Question Behind the Question, Flipping the Switch, and Unleashing the Power or Personal Accountability. David is also a communication consultant and presentation coach.
Also new for 2010 is the Electronic Swap Meet! Join David Page and your EMS Instructor cohorts for a chance to share the best of your combined electronic resources. Bring your laptops and two of your best electronic assets (PowerPoint presentations, photos, outlines, lesson plans or videos) and you will receive everything that participants brought to the session. Participants will be able to share tips and tricks, resources you love and have your most nagging questions answered.
Additional information about the conference will be posted as it is available. For conference questions, contact
